Mobile Tariff, Vouchers: This step of TRAI will change mobile tariff, vouchers and validity etc., know this important thing

Telecom regulator TRAI (TRAI) has issued a discussion paper to telecom companies to change the validity period of the recharge plan.

New Delhi. The validity period of recharge of mobile phone should be 28 days or 30 days. Telecom regulator TRAI (TRAI) has issued a discussion paper to telecom companies to consider many such things on mobile tariffs. In this, steps have to be taken on the validity period of the tariff rate i.e. tariff in the schemes offered to the customers.

This step has been taken considering the complaints and concerns of various consumers. The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) said that it has received complaints from customers about 28 days offer instead of one month in terms of tariff rates by telecom service providers. TRAI said that on the issue of tariff determination of telecom services, it adopts a policy of restraint in action, with few exceptions.

Not happy with the validity time Customer

TRAI has asked the concerned parties, customers and industry whether it should intervene on the validity period or maintain restraint under the existing system. TRAI said in a statement that based on the feedback received from customers, it is being felt that a large number of consumers are not satisfied with some fees / vouchers offered by telecom companies and its validity period.

The plan should be according to the aspirations and needs of the customers

. The purpose of the latest discussion paper is to identify the fees or vouchers and validity offered by the telecom service providers which are in line with the aspirations and needs of the customers. The regulator has issued a discussion paper related to the validity period of the fee offer and asked to give suggestions on it by June 11. The deadline for the response is 25 June.

Actually, mobile companies have a duration like 24 days, 28 days, 54 days in their schemes. This inconveniences customers. If it becomes monthly then there will be transparency in front of the customers. Whereas companies aim to keep a few short days instead of a month, they will get money for extra days later.
