Who will get more benefits
Ration card holders will get benefits under this scheme. If the names of 4 people are registered in your ration card, then everyone will get 5 5 kg i.e. total 20 kg of food grains. This grain will be different from the grains you get every month on ration cards. That is, if you get 5 kg of food grains on the ration card in a month, then in May and June you will get 5 + 5 i.e. 10 kg of food grains.
Know from where you can get ration
Under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, you will get these grains given in May and June from the same ration shop from where you have been taking food grains from the ration card.
The scheme was launched last year
The scheme was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the lockdown imposed to prevent the outbreak of the Corona epidemic last year. All kinds of economic activity were stopped in the lockdown.
