20% capacity of godowns increased

He said that the capacity of the state government and the central warehouse warehouses have also been increased. Sudhanshu Pandey said that about 20 percent capacity has been increased in warehouses. So that more and more food grains can be kept in closed warehouses. This is the reason why there has been a decrease in food grains.

The Food Secretary said that a pilot project is going on in Buxar to keep the rice for longer. Based on the pilot project, modern silos will also be manufactured for storage of rice. In fact, many years ago, the government started making modern silos in collaboration with the private sector. But the capacity of modern silos has not increased much yet.
