Earlier, to make changes in the EPFO online facility , both the employee and the employer had to give a joint request. Now EPFO ​​has given the facility of online request. After receiving the request from the employee, the system will compare it with the Aadhaar data. After verification, this request will be sent to the employer’s login. Online correction process

> Go to Unified Portal of EPFO. Login by entering UAN and Password.

> Go to Manage Modify Basic Details on the home page. If Aadhaar is verified, the details will not be edited.

> Fill the correct details (which are entered in your Aadhaar), after which the system will verify it with the Aadhaar data.

> After filling the details click on update details, the information will be sent to the employer for approval.

Employer will complete this process

Login to the Employer Portal and click on Change Request for Member Details to view the changes.

> Employer will check the information and approve it. After approval, employers can check status updates.

> After this the employer will send the request to the EPFO ​​office. Where field officers will cross check.

After this, the details will be approved from the Regional Provident Fund Commissioner’s office if the details are correct.

How to improve offline?

If someone wants to make corrections in his details offline, then he has to fill the form related to it and send it to the EPFO ​​office after filling it with the employer. After checking its details there, it will be updated in your account. You can also get information by SMS on this number to 7738299899.
