New Expressway: Get ready to speed on the Meerut-Prayagraj Ganga Expressway. It is likely that the Ganga Expressway will be operational before the new year. The construction work is almost nearing completion. Only nominal work is left in the third section between Meerut and Prayagraj. The first phase from Meerut to Badaun is ready. It is expected that a trial will be conducted at the end of this month or in the first week of December. After this, the inauguration can happen anytime. The journey between Meerut and Prayagraj on the Ganga Expressway will take about six to seven hours. The process of setting a maximum speed of 100-120 kilometers is underway. Accordingly, the journey is estimated to be of six to seven hours.

According to UPDA’s official report, 94 percent of the work from Meerut to Prayagraj has been completed. Six percent of the work is being finalized. The Ganga Expressway, spanning 594 kilometers between Meerut and Prayagraj, includes 1,498 major structures, of which 1,497 have been completed. Construction work has also been completed in districts like Meerut, Hapur, and others between Meerut and Prayagraj. It is being finalized. Construction work on the first 129 kilometers of the Meerut to Badaun section is now nearing completion. Work on the second section is nearing completion, but the third section near Unnao and Hardoi is still under construction. However, the government has issued an ultimatum to complete all construction work by November 25th, so that trials can be conducted at the end of November.

The Meerut Ganga Expressway will be connected to Bijauli on Hapur Road. This 129,700-kilometer section from Meerut to Badaun is connected by a total of 322 major structures. Meerut district comprises only 14,950 kilometers of the Ganga Expressway. Hapur district comprises 33,300 kilometers, Amroha 26,150 kilometers, Bulandshahr 10,500 kilometers, Sambhal 38,780 kilometers, and Badaun 6,020 kilometers. Construction on this section is nearing completion, with only the final touches being applied. It is claimed that this section will be ready for full operation within the next few days.
