Air services are already being operated from Hisar Airport to Ayodhya and Delhi. Regular flights to Ayodhya are available on Fridays and Sundays. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had formally inaugurated the air service from Hisar on 14 April.
A new chapter is going to be added in the civil aviation sector of Haryana. On June 9, 2025, regular air service is going to start from Hisar Airport to Chandigarh for the first time. This historic occasion will be inaugurated by Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini. This service is being considered an important step towards improving the internal air connectivity of the state.
Alliance Airline will operate
This new air service will be operated by Alliance Airline. At present, this service will be available two days a week on Monday and Friday. The aircraft will have 48 seats and it will fly from Chandigarh for the first time on June 9 and reach Hisar.
Flight timing and fare
The first flight will depart from Chandigarh at 3:20 pm and reach Hisar airport at 4:30 pm. After this, the return flight will take off from Hisar at 4:55 pm and reach Chandigarh at 5:55 pm. Passengers will have to pay around Rs 1700 per ticket for this service, although this fare will be fixed on the basis of flexi pricing.
Growing stature of Hisar Airport

More connectivity in the coming time
The government plans to develop Hisar Airport as a major air hub of North India. In the coming time, air services are also expected to start from here to major cities like Dharamshala, Jammu, Srinagar, Ahmedabad and Jaipur.
This new flight service will not only provide better facilities to the passengers but will also accelerate the social and economic development of the region. Air connectivity between Hisar and Chandigarh will bring the two cities closer.
