Launched by dog toy company BARK in partnership with jet charter service BARK Air, it aims to revolutionize flights for dogs and ensure they travel in comfort and style. Before boarding a flight, airlines take complete details of the dogs. A specially trained crew will be deployed to provide service to the dogs in flight.
Bark Air service started from New York to Los Angeles
In an Instagram post, BARC Air shared details of the airline’s first flight from New York to Los Angeles on Thursday (May 23). The airline wrote in the caption of the post, “Right now there is a flight full of dogs at an altitude of 30 thousand feet.”
Rent ranges from Rs 5 to 6.5 lakh
The cost of a one-way domestic flight for the dog and its owner is $ 6,000 (Rs five lakh) and for an international flight it is $ 8,000 (Rs six and a half lakh). Dogs and their owners will have to reach the airport 45 minutes early to catch the flight.
At present flight service is only in America and Britain
Tickets for the initial flight from New York to Los Angeles sold out quickly and later flights for June are also filling up quickly. The company is currently providing flight services only in America and Britain. These flights will be available between New York, California and London.
