Features of Indira Gandhi Housing Scheme

  1. A technical assistance agency has been set up under this scheme which will provide financial assistance to the people and technical assistance in construction of houses.
  2. Unit assistance has been increased from Rs 70000 to Rs 120000 in the plain area and from Rs 75000 to Rs 130,000 in hilly state inaccessible areas and IPL blocks.
