Commercial Cylinder Rates Hiked on April 1st

However, there was no hike in the prices of domestic LPG cylinders at that time. A price hike of ₹51 was also implemented on the smaller 5-kilogram cylinders. It is worth noting that the last price hike for domestic LPG cylinders occurred on March 7.

In a statement issued by the Central Government on Monday, it was affirmed that the situation regarding LPG supplies remains completely normal. To date, no reports of any shortages have been received from any distributor. Furthermore, the Central Government has announced that the entire booking process has now been made completely OTP-based.

A new LPG tanker arrived yesterday, Tuesday, at Kandla in Gujarat. This tanker had crossed the Strait of Hormuz on April 11. Since the war began, India has successfully brought in several of its LPG tankers from the Gulf nations.
