Bank of Baroda New Saving Scheme: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Bank of Baroda (BoB) has announced a special savings account for women. The bank on Friday announced the launch of ‘BoB Global Women NRE and NRO Savings Account’ equipped with ‘Auto Sweep’ facility. This will allow customers to get home loans and car loans at affordable rates along with getting high interest. BoB is the first public sector bank to bring such an account for women account holders. The processing fee on loans in this account will also be less.

What is the detail

The Bank has revamped one of its flagship NRI offerings, BOB Premium NRE (Resident External Account) and NRO (Resident Ordinary Account) Savings Account by enhancing its features and benefits to provide a more rewarding banking experience to customers.

Bina Waheed, Executive Director, Bank of Baroda, said, “The BOB Global Women NRE and NRO Savings Account recognises the changing dynamics of today’s global Indian women. It is designed to empower women by providing them with premium banking privileges and thoughtfully designed features.”

The revamped BOB Premium NRE and NRO Savings Account comes with a host of features, including a customised debit card with enhanced transaction limits, complimentary domestic and international lounge access, free safe deposit lockers, and free personal and air accident insurance coverage, the bank said.
