According to a report by news agency PTI, Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself will inaugurate the Vande Bharat train going from New Delhi to Kashmir on the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla rail link in January next year.
800 km journey in 13 hours
This train will cover the 800 km journey from New Delhi to Srinagar route in 13 hours. If we talk about timing, the train will leave New Delhi Railway Station at 7 pm and reach Srinagar Railway Station at 8 am the next morning. The train will stop at Ambala Cantt Junction, Ludhiana Junction, Kathua, Jammu Tawi, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Sangaldan and Banihal railway stations.
