Noida International Airport joins hands with Akasa Air, know when the flights will start, complete details

Noida International Airport News: The flight plan from Noida Airport has started taking shape. Soon after the construction of the airport is completed, flight operations will be started from here. Yogi government is especially working in this regard. After IndiGo, now Akasa Air has also planned a flight from the airport.

Noida International Airport: After Indigo Airlines, now Akasa Air will also fly from the Noida International Airport being built in Jewar, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Noida International Airport has signed an MoU with Akasa Air during a program organized in Hyderabad on Friday. Akasa Air will provide both domestic and international flights. A few months ago, NIAL (Noida International Airport Limited) had signed an agreement with Indigo Airlines. Since then, further talks were going on with many companies. In this sequence, NAIL has signed an agreement with Akasa Air on Friday.

Christoph Schrelmann, Chief Executive Officer, Noida International Airport, welcomed Akasa Air to become a part of NIA. This partnership will play an important role in strengthening air connectivity in the country and abroad including Delhi-NCR, Western Uttar Pradesh. With this, we can do better work in connecting the major metros as well as Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities across the country.

Vinay Dubey, Founder and CEO of Akasa Air, said during this time that the country is moving towards becoming an international aviation hub. This agreement will prove successful in further strengthening air connectivity with Uttar Pradesh. Construction of Noida Airport is one of the dream projects of Yogi Adityanath government.

Commercial flights will start in October

Commercial flights will start from the under construction airport in Jewar in October 2024. The trial of the airport will start in the last week of February, which will last for about 6-8 months. The ATC tower has been handed over to the Airport Authority of India. The runway is also ready. The work of installing equipment in the ATC tower and runway is currently going on at a fast pace.
