Now Bumper Discounts On Air Travel! Up to 50% cheaper tickets will be available on advance booking

There has been a decline in fares on Mumbai to Kolkata, Srinagar, Chennai, Kochi, Varanasi and Lucknow air routes from August as compared to June-July.

Many airline companies of the country have announced a discount on their tickets. This discount in airfares is being given from August to October. Some airline companies have kept fares low for air travel through sale and some without sale during August to October, so that passengers can book in advance and companies can get forward booking revenue, which is very much needed at this time. Last week, Alliance Air, SpiceJet and Vistara announced monsoon sale schemes. Although the airfares of August-October in most airline companies are less.

Usually, the reduction in airfares remains in the month of June-July, but this year the airfare in these months was high, because the government has increased the fare for air travel by about 15 percent from June 1. The government’s reasoning behind this was that during the second wave of Corona, the aviation sector is running at a loss due to the very low number of passengers, for which it is necessary to give some relief to the companies by increasing the fares.

Reduction in corona cases increased demand for air travel

There has been a decline in fares on Mumbai to Kolkata, Srinagar, Chennai, Kochi, Varanasi and Lucknow air routes from August as compared to June-July. The cheapest fare on return tickets from Mumbai to Srinagar in the month of June-July is Rs 15,000 for the next five weeks, while the same fare for August is starting at Rs 8,300. That is, from August, advance ticket prices are coming down by almost 50 percent.

Due to the decrease in corona cases across the country, the demand for air travel has increased again and the cheapest fare on the Mumbai-Delhi route was Rs 10000. The same is the case at the end of July, while the lowest fare for return ticket for Mumbai-Delhi flight for August is Rs 4,600. A similar decline is being seen in most of the domestic sector airfares. However, airline companies also believe that if there is still any reason for not booking, then it is uncertainty on the third wave of Corona.
