Actually, the government oil marketing company Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has launched a new LPG cylinder (LPG cylinder) in the market named XtraTej (Extratage).
There is a claim about this cylinder that it produces more heat. Simply put, you can do more cooking in less gas through this cylinder.
IOC officials say that this can reduce your fuel expenditure by about 7 per cent.
That is, you can save one cylinder on every 12 cylinders.
In other words, if an average Indian family cooks 30 days of food from a normal LPG cylinder, then through XtraTej you can cook 3 days more i.e. 33 days.
In this way, you can save around Rs 850 in a year.
Premium quality
Now come to the most important thing, that is, its price. So here too, the common people are getting relief. The new LPG cylinder will be of premium quality, but it will not cost much.
Apart from this, it has another advantage. Now women will not have to work in the kitchen for much longer. Officials say that since this cylinder gives more heat per unit of gas.
In such a situation, the time taken to cook food is also reduced considerably.
With this step which provides relief to the common people, the IOC has made many more announcements for the customers.
Combo cylinder
When you get delivery of your normal 14.5 kg LPG cylinder, you can also take a small 5 kg cylinder. You can use it as a backup.
If there is a delay in delivery of your next cylinder then you can use this cylinder.
Short cylinder
For those people who do not have much consumption of gas, the company has introduced a 5 kg short cylinder. You can also buy it from LPG distributor or petrol pump.
missed calls
During the pandemic period, the IOC has also started booking LPG cylinders through missed calls. In this, you can book the cylinder with your registered mobile number.
For this, you have to give a missed call on 8454955555. Just by doing this, your gas will be booked.
This initiative is very beneficial for the customers who are not much familiar with the IVR facility.
