Now refund will reach the bank account immediately on cancellation of ticket, IRCTC started new facility

A subsidiary of Indian Railways has changed its website for IRCTC-iPay. In the new system, along with booking tatkal and normal tickets, the facility of cancellation will also be available. The company has also upgraded the IRCTC-iPay feature along with its user interface.




New Delhi. IRCTC, a subsidiary of Indian Railways, has given good news for train passengers. According to this, now railway passengers will not have to wait for two-three days for refund after cancellation of train ticket. Under the new system, if a passenger cancels a train ticket on the IRCTC website, the refund will be credited to his account immediately. Please tell that passengers will get this facility on cancellation of tickets purchased through both the IRCTC app and website. You will not have to wait for a refund if you cancel your ticket after purchasing it through IRCTC-ipay payment gateway.

The Central Government had launched IRCTC-iPay in 2019 under the Digital India campaign. IRCTC has also made changes in its website for this facility. In the new system, along with booking Tatkal and normal tickets, cancellation facility will also be available.
