State Bank of India (SBI) has announced a new facility to its customers during the Kovid-19 epidemic. On the lines of some other banks, now SBI has also launched mobile ATM service. This information has been given by a tweet from SBI. It has been said on behalf of SBI that in times like the Kovid-19 epidemic, it will continue to provide services to the customers non-stop.

Service started in these places

This service was launched by SBI in August last year in Uttar Pradesh. The service was highly appreciated by the customers and they benefited from it in a big way. So far this service has been launched in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Guwahati, Chandigarh and Patna. In the service that was launched last year, customers had to send a message from their WhatsApp to SBI.

If they want, they can also call SBI and the ATM will come at their doorstep. It has been said from the bank that the customer should either just dial a number or send WhatsApp, the rest of the work will be done by the bank.

HDFC also launched mobile ATM service

Mobile ATM facility has also been started by HDFC Bank in major cities across the country. That is, you will not have to go to the ATM to withdraw cash, but the ATM will come to you. HDFC Bank has deployed Mobile ATM Service to help the customers. The bank has given this information on its official Twitter account. Through this, people will be able to withdraw cash from the mobile ATM van reaching near the house. You will get many facilities sitting at home.

SBI has changed the rules

SBI has changed many rules from July 1. The bank has changed the service charge for withdrawing money from its ATMs and bank branches. This has been confirmed by SBI. Accordingly, new charges will be applicable on transfers and other non-financial transactions. According to the bank, the new service charges will be applicable to SBI Basic Savings Bank Deposit (BSBD) account holders from July 1, 2021.

Withdrawing cash from ATM is expensive

The BSBD customer of the bank has the facility to withdraw free cash four times. After the free limit is exhausted, the bank charges the customers. But after July 1, the bank will be charged Rs 15 along with GST charge on cash withdrawal from ATMs. Due to the Corona crisis, State Bank of India has increased the cash withdrawal limit, giving relief to its account holders. Customers will be able to withdraw up to Rs 25,000 from their savings account through the withdrawal form by going to another branch and up to Rs 1 lakh can also be withdrawn from the check by going to another branch.
