OTT FRIDAY Release, 10th June: With the increasing popularity of OTT platforms, content in different languages is coming every week on digital platforms. Many Bollywood actors are also coming forward to explore these new mediums and are debuting on the OTT platform through a web series or film. Some interesting series are coming on this Friday i.e. 10th June.
Sonali Bendre’s debut web series Broken News will be released on Zee5. This is a series of electronic media showcasing impulsiveness and brashness, in which Sonali plays the role of Amina Qureshi, editor-in-chief of Awaaz Bharti channel. Sonali will be contested by Jaideep Ahlawat, who plays Dipankar Sanyal, editor-in-chief of Josh 24/7 News. Along with these two actors, Shriya Pilgaonkar will be seen playing the role of Radha Bhargava, a journalist.
Ardh will release only on Zee5. With this film, TV actress and Bigg Boss season 14 winner Rubina Dilaik is making her film debut. Rajpal Yadav is in the lead role. Ardh, directed by Palash Muchhal, revolves around Shiva, who hails from a small town and struggles to become an actor in Mumbai, but makes a living by becoming a transgender when films are not available. Rajpal Yadav is in the role of Shiva. Rubina is in the role of wife. Hiten Tejwani and Kulbhushan Kharbanda will also be seen in important roles.
CyberVaar web series is being streamed on Voot. It is a crime show starring Mohit Malik and Sanya Irani in lead roles. Apart from these, the sixth season of the crime series Peaky Blinders is coming on Netflix. This is the last season of the series.
Earlier, on June 9, the second season of Code M web series is being released on Voot. Jennifer Winget will once again be seen in her old style, Tanuj Virwani will be seen in an important role. At the same time, on June 8, the superhero web series Miss Marvel on Disney Plus Hotstar can also be included in the weekend plan.
