Pay Commission: Important news for central employees, new update from government on pay commission…

Let us tell you that the 7th Pay Commission was constituted in 2014 and its recommendations were implemented from 2016. Now discussions were going on regarding the formation of the Eighth Pay Commission but there are no positive indications from the government.

8th Pay Commission: If you are a central employee then this news is for you. Actually, the Central Government has responded in the House regarding the formation of the Eighth Pay Commission. Through this answer, the government has told about its future plans. Let us tell you that the recommendations of the Seventh Pay Commission were implemented in the year 2016. Due to the implementation of these recommendations, there was a big increase in the salary and allowances of central employees.

Rajya Sabha MP asked questions

Rajya Sabha MP Ramnath Thakur had asked written questions to the Finance Ministry regarding the formation of the Eighth Pay Commission. Considering four points, he had asked that the Eighth Pay Commission is being constituted to review the salaries of central employees? In response to this question, Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary said that no such proposal is under consideration before the government.

Referring to Para 1.22 of 7th Pay Commission

The Rajya Sabha MP has also asked questions referring to Para 1.22 of the 7th Pay Commission. Please note that in Para 1.22, it has been recommended to review the fitment factor after 5 years. Through this, the way will be cleared for salary increase of central employees. However, the government does not enforce it. Let us tell you that the 7th Pay Commission was constituted in 2014 and its recommendations were implemented from 2016. Now there was talk of formation of the Eighth Pay Commission but till now no positive signals are being received from the government.

Meanwhile, central employees are waiting for DA i.e. dearness allowance for the first half of the year. It is believed that the government can increase the allowance by 4 percent for the first half i.e. from January to June. If this happens then the allowance of central employees will increase to 50 percent.
