Petrol-Diesel Price Today 5th June: New petrol-diesel has been issued for today (May 5). Government oil companies have not made any change in the prices of petrol and diesel for the 14th consecutive day. The last change in the prices of petrol and diesel was on May 21.

Government gave big relief

Let us inform that in the midst of rising inflation, the Central Government had given great relief to the people on May 21. The government had reduced the excise duty on petrol and diesel. The government cut the excise duty on petrol by Rs 8 and on diesel by Rs 6. After this, petrol became cheaper by Rs 9.50 and diesel by Rs 7 per liter across the country. After this decision of the central government, some states also reduced VAT. This includes the governments of Rajasthan, Kerala and Maharashtra.
