Petrol inflation in new sky in Delhi 

Petrol has increased by 29 paise to Rs 88.14 per liter in Delhi today, which is a new record, petrol has reached Rs 94.64 per liter in Mumbai, Petrol is being sold today at Rs 89.44 per liter in Kolkata and in Chennai. Today the price of petrol is Rs 90.44 per liter.

Petrol and diesel fire in the new year

Petrol prices have been increased for 17 days in January and February, but during this time petrol has become expensive by Rs 4.39 per liter. On January 1, the price of petrol was Rs 83.71, today it is Rs 88.14 per liter. Similarly, from January 1 to today, diesel has been costlier by Rs 4.51 per liter. On January 1, the price of diesel in Delhi was Rs 73.87 per liter, today it is Rs 78.38.

Petrol became more expensive by Rs 15 in 1 year

If we compare today’s prices with the prices of the year before, then on 11 February 2020, the rate of petrol in Delhi was Rs 71.94 per liter, that is, petrol has become expensive by Rs 15.91 per liter during the year. Diesel was also Rs 64.87 per liter on 11 February 2020, which means diesel has also become costlier by Rs 13.16 per liter in a year.

After petrol, diesel prices have also reached the new sky of new inflation. Diesel in Mumbai is Rs 85.32 per liter, which is the most expensive rate so far. Diesel is also priced at Rs 78.38 per liter in Delhi, Rs 81.96 per liter in Kolkata and petrol in Chennai at Rs 83.52.
