Download Umang App on your smartphone through Play Store. Register with your phone number and login to the app. After this, go to the menu given on the top left and go to ‘Service Directory’. Click here by searching for the EPFO option. After this, after going to View Passbook, check the balance through your UAN number and OTP.
Details will be received through SMS
You can also check PF balance through SMS, but for this your UAN number should be registered with EPFO. SMS to 7738299899 by typing EPFOHO UAN from the registered mobile number. If the details related to the balance are needed in any other language including Hindi, then a three-letter code of the language will have to be written. For Hindi, message by writing EPFOHO UAN HIN.
Login to the official website

After filling all the details, you will come to a new page and here you will have to select the member ID. You will get EPF balance on e-passbook.
