PM Kisan: Important news for farmers, the government made a big announcement under the ‘PM Kisan Yojana’

Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar informed Parliament on Tuesday that the government has no proposal to increase the amount given under the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan Samman Nidhi) scheme. In such a situation, financial assistance of Rs 6,000 per year will be given to farmer families as before.

Explain that under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, the farmers of the country are given financial assistance of Rs. 6000 every year under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. Aadhaar has become necessary from 1 December 2019 to take advantage of this scheme.

This amount is sent in three installments of Rs 2,000 directly into the bank accounts of the beneficiary farmers identified by the State and Union Territory Governments. Tomar said in a written reply in the Lok Sabha, “There is no proposal to increase the funds allocated under the PM Kisan Yojana”. He said that at present, 6,000 rupees per year is given to the farmers. This payment is made on the basis of seed data of the beneficiaries.

Till March 31, farmers of these states will get exemption

At present, the process of Aadhaar seed is not done in Assam, Meghalaya, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. In this regard, these states have been exempted till March 31, 2021.

In Rajasthan, about 70,82,035 farmer families have been given the benefit of the scheme to cover various installments. He said that Rs 7,632.695 crore has been spent in the state under this scheme. He said that the number of beneficiaries in Rajasthan’s Ganganagar district is 1,45,799, while the number of beneficiaries in Dausa district is 1,71,661.

Money will be withdrawn if disqualified

In response to another question on recovery of funds from ineligible farmers under PM Kisan Yojana in Maharashtra, the minister said that the central government has recovered about Rs 78.37 crore on 11 March this year.
