KCC Yojana: Application form of Kisan Credit Card will now also be found on PM Kisan Scheme website. Banks have been asked to take only three documents and issue KCC loans on the same basis.
The Modi government has now made it much easier to take loans for farming. The KCC-Kisan Credit Card scheme has been linked to the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme (PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme) for the convenience of the donors. By combining both schemes, the government has launched a campaign to make KCC. Under this, 174.96 lakh applications have been approved so far. A loan of Rs 1,63,627 crore has been given on these applications. The central government has given information about this.
Under KCC, loans up to Rs 3 lakh are available only at 7% interest. If you return the money on time, then there is a discount of 3 percent. In this way, honest farmers are getting money at 4% interest only. During the Corona lockdown, the government had announced the issuance of 2.5 crore Kisan Credit Cards with a spending limit of Rs 2 lakh crore. Out of which twenty five million cards have been made. That is, 75 lakh more farmers will get KCC under this campaign.
Agricultural loan target increased
In the general budget of 2021-22, the central government has set a target to distribute farm loans worth Rs 16.5 lakh crore. So that farmers can get loans easily. Especially those involved in dairy and fisheries. The government wants all the beneficiaries of the PM Kisan Yojana to take advantage of the KCC scheme. So that they get rid of moneylenders from taking loans for farming on coarse interest. There are about 8.5 crore KCC holders in the country. While there are about 11 crore beneficiaries of PM Kisan Scheme.

Banks cannot condone giving KCC
Under the PM Kisan Scheme, a record of the land of 11 crore farmers of the country and their biometric is with the Central Government. In this case, both schemes have been linked. Due to which, now the bank officials will not be able to ignore the applicants in giving loans to the farmers.
According to Union Minister of State for Agriculture Kailash Chaudhary, earlier the process of getting loan under KCC was difficult. That is why KCC was linked to PM Kisan Scheme. Now the KCC form has been made available on the PM Kisan Scheme website itself. Therefore, banks have been asked to take only three documents and issue a loan based on that.
Documents required for KCC
Whether the applicant is a farmer or not. For this, his revenue record will be seen. Aadhaar, PAN, photo will be taken for his identity and thirdly his affidavit will be taken whether the loan of the applicant is not outstanding in any bank. On the government’s directive, banks have abolished the processing fees for making KCC.
