Under the plan, a total of 25,750 MW of solar capacity is planned to be built by 2022 by combining these three components. Under the Kusum scheme, banks provide 30% of the amount as loan to the farmers. At the same time, the government gives 60% of the total cost of solar pump to the farmers as subsidy.
