PM Modi inaugurates Banjara Heritage Museum in Washim; seen playing traditional drums

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a one-day visit to Maharashtra. This morning, PM Modi arrived at Nanded airport, where he was welcomed by BJP leader Ashok Chavan. From here he flew to Poharadevi by helicopter. PM Modi offered prayers at the Jagadamba Mata temple in Poharadevi in ​​Washim district and also tried his hand at playing the traditional drum.

PM Modi also paid tribute to Sant Sevalal Maharaj and Sant Ramrao Maharaj at Samadhi in Poharadevi. After this, he inaugurated the Banjara Heritage Museum and also participated in the celebration of the rich heritage of the Banjara community. After Washim, PM Modi will also visit Thane and Mumbai, where he will inaugurate various projects.

Will inaugurate various development projects

PM Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various development projects worth more than Rs 32,800 crore in Thane at around 4 pm. He will also felicitate the beneficiaries of the Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Behan Yojana. After this, PM Modi will flag off the metro train running between BKC to Aarey JVLR, Mumbai from BKC Metro Station at around 6 pm. He will also ride in the metro between BKC and Santacruz station.

According to the PMO, the Prime Minister will release the 18th installment of PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi of about Rs 20,000 crore to about 9.4 crore farmers. With this, the total amount released to farmers under Samman Nidhi will be around Rs 3.45 lakh crore. PM Modi will also release the 5th installment of ‘Namo Shetkari Mahasamman Nidhi Yojana’. About Rs 2,000 crore will be released under this.
