PM Modi Total Assets: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has filed an affidavit on Tuesday. Under this, he has total assets worth Rs 3.02 crore. PM Modi, who is contesting from Varanasi seat of Uttar Pradesh for the third consecutive time, believes in investments like FD i.e. Fixed Deposit. Many important things have come to light from the affidavit. The special thing is that the PM does not have any house, car or land in his name.

What’s in PM Modi’s affidavit?

According to PM Modi’s affidavit, he has assets worth Rs 3.02 crore. Apart from this, there is cash of Rs 52 thousand 920. The special thing is that most of the property of PM Modi is in the form of FD. The affidavit issued on ECI i.e. Election Commission of India shows that PM Modi has invested the maximum amount of Rs 2 crore 85 lakh in SBI (State Bank of India) as FD. He has Rs 52 thousand 920 in cash.

Apart from this, he has four gold rings of 45 grams each, whose value is said to be Rs 2 lakh 67 thousand. PM Modi has National Savings Certificates worth Rs 9 lakh 12 thousand.

National Savings Certificate or NSC is a fixed income scheme backed by the government, the benefits of which can be availed through post offices. In media reports quoting Clear Tax, it has been said that NSC gives an interest rate of 7.7 percent every year. Apart from this, benefits are also available under Section 80C. The lock-in period in NSC is five years and investment can be started from Rs 1,000.

How much income tax did you pay?

According to PTI, he has paid income tax of Rs 3 lakh 33 thousand in the last financial year. In the election affidavit, ‘zero’ is written in the immovable property field. Generally, land and house come under the category of such assets.
