PNB Account Holders: know how you can change home branch online in step by step process

What is the rules of SBI

The country’s largest government bank SBI has also made a rule for online account transfer. This work can be done online. There is no need to go to the branch for this. However, for this you have to go to the branch and complete KYC. Without KYC online account transfer will not happen.

First of all you have to login net banking. On the home page, click on the ‘e-Service’ button. You will see the option of ‘Transfer of Savings Account’ on the left side in the e-services section. Click on it. Here you will see the accounts available in SBI. Click on the account you want to transfer to another branch. After this, enter the branch code of the same branch of SBI in which the account is to be transferred.




Process will be completed like this

Now you will see a tab written ‘Get Branch Name’. Click on it and the name of the branch, code of that branch will appear in the box below. Select this code or enter it in the box if you know the code. After that submit the form by ticking the accept. After this an OTP will come on your registered mobile number. This OTP has to be submitted in the form. Now click on the confirm button after which a new page will open. In this page, the account transfer confirmation message, existing branch and its details etc. will be shown. These details will be of the branch where your account is to be transferred. After this your request will be submitted on which the bank will take its action within a week.
