PNB: Big news for PNB customer! Get this work done before 31st August otherwise the bank may ban the transaction.

PNB customers Update KYC details: In order to protect bank customers from fraud, forgery or cyber fraud, RBI has many times advised customers to visit the concerned bank branch to verify their e-KYC details.

New Delhi: According to Punjab National Bank, every account holder has to verify his bank details before 31st August and for this it is necessary to get e-KYC done. PNB has also sent alerts to customers in this regard through notices and messages. RBI has already issued its guidelines regarding completing e-KYC.

  • In order to protect bank customers from fraud, forgery or cyber fraud, RBI has many times advised customers to visit the concerned bank branch to verify their e-KYC details. As per the RBI guidelines, PNB has asked its customers to complete the bank account KYC details. For this, August 31 has been declared as the last date, which now has one day left to end.
  • PNB has sent two notices to the registered address of the account customers and information about getting e-KYC done through SMS on their registered mobile number.
  • PNB has asked its customers to update their KYC information before August 31, 2023 as per RBI norms.
  • PNB has said that bank account customers can do eKYC sitting at home through net banking or mobile.
  • Get the update done through PNB application, website or by visiting any branch of the bank in person.
  • If KYC details are not updated even within the given time limit, bank account transactions may be stopped.

Customers can do e-KYC through PNB app.

PNB customers have to update identity proof, address proof, current photo, PAN, income proof, mobile number etc. under KYC update through PNB One. At the same time, if there is no change in the customer’s information, he can go to the bank branch and give a self-declaration.

Check KYC Status Account Holder?

  • PNB account holder login to online PNB website with required credentials
  • Go to Individual Settings and click on KYC Status.
  • If you need to update your KYC will appear on the screen.
