How to deposit money in PPF account from the app
- Open the postpay app.
- Go to the DOP Products section and tap on PPF. DOP stands for Department of Posts.
- Enter PPF Account Number and DOP Customer ID.
- Select the installment period and amount.
- Click on transfer and you will get a notification when the amount is transferred.
It is important to know that the maturity period of PPF account is 15 years. However, it can be extended for another 5 years within one year of maturity. Apart from this, PPF account can remain active even after maturing without any new contribution.
