Property Tax: Immediately submit property tax online, SDMC announces 15% rebate to taxpayer

SDMC has earned Rs 80 crore revenue from 1,15,000 property taxpayers this year, while an amount of Rs 28 crore was received from 75,000 property taxpayers during the same period last year in which property tax was deposited manually. Property taxpayers will get a 15 percent rebate if they pay property tax before June 30.




New Delhi. South Delhi Mayor Mukesh Suryan said that the Southern Corporation is providing the facility to pay property tax online through CSC (Common Service Center) for the convenience of the citizens. He said that 1441 CSCs (Common Service Centers) come under the Southern Corporation and the facility of paying property tax online would be available at all these centers.

Also, for the convenience of citizens, the option of making online payment will be available at the centers. Suryan said that the numbers of the nodal officers posted at these centers are available on the website of South Corporation.

He said that this year it has been decided that property tax will be deposited only through online mode and payment will be taken online only. Apart from this, with the help of Property Tax Department, CSC, RWAs are being organized in all the zones. Property tax camps will be organized in association with the market association.

Suryan appealed to the citizens to take advantage of this facility so that their property tax records can be kept online.
