This facility is also provided by the EPFO (Employees Provident Fund Organization) if the member wants to know the status of the employee after he claims to withdraw from the Employee Provident Fund. Members can see status from the Employee sitting at home.
Employees Provident Fund: Applications can be applied both online or offline to withdraw money from EPF ie Employees Provident Fund. This facility is also provided by the EPFO (Employees Provident Fund Organization) if the member wants to know the status of the employee after he claims for EPF. Members can check the status of PF Claim with or without Employee UAN i.e. Universal Account Number. How do we know-
Through Member eSeva / UAN Member Portal
– Go to https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/.
– Log in by entering UAN, password and captcha.
– Go to ‘Online Services’ tab and select ‘Track Claim Status’ option.
– On the next page, the status of your online withdrawal / transfer claim will appear.
Remember, the UAN member portal does not show the status of the offline application. To know the status of the offline claim, one has to visit the official website of EPFO.
Via EPFO portal
– Go to https://www.epfindia.gov.in/site_en/index.php and click on ‘For Employees’ in the Services section.
– Now on the next page, click on ‘No Your Claim Status’ in the Services section.
After this, you will have an option show- ‘Click here to get directed to the passbook application’. This option has to be clicked to access the EPF passbook. If you wish, you can visit the EPF member passbook portal directly.
– Now you will reach the passbook portal, where you have to log in by entering UAN, password and captcha.
– On the next page, the view claim status option will appear. Also all connected EPF accounts will also be displayed.
– On selecting the account / member ID containing the claim and clicking on the view claim status, the status will start to show.
How to know status without UAN
Go to the official website of EPFO and go to the ‘No Your Claim Status’ section.
– Select ‘Click here for knowing the claim status’ option.
– Now select the state and city with PF office from the drop down menu.
– Now enter the PF number and submit it.
– After this, the claim status will appear.
Via the Umang app
– Find the EPFO on this by installing the Umang app.
– Now click on ‘Employee Centric Services’.
– Now click on Track Claim and enter UAN and click on Gate OTP.
– Now an OTP will come on the mobile number registered with the EPF.
– Log in by putting it in the specified space.
– After this, the claim status will appear.
