Public Holiday: Hyderabad District Collector Harichandana Dasari has declared a paid holiday for all offices and institutions in view of the Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election. This holiday has been granted on November 10, 11, and 14. Holidays have already been granted for November 10 and 11 due to the by-election work. Now, a holiday has also been granted for November 14, the day of the vote count.

Collector Harichandana Dasari spoke to the English newspaper The Hindu. He explained that the paid holiday will apply to government schools and offices that have been set up as polling or counting centers in the Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency. He stated that this holiday is primarily for schools, as teachers will be on election duty and, in many cases, voting will take place in these schools or offices. In addition, all government offices in the region have been given holidays, as many of their employees are voters. These holidays were announced on November 10th, the day before the election, and on November 11th, the day of the election.
Orders Strictly Followed
In a conversation, the Collector stated that bars around polling stations will remain closed, and food distribution or other such activities will not be permitted. His orders were followed. The Jubilee Hills by-election is a three-way contest, with the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), Congress, and BJP facing off. Voting took place on November 11, and the results will be declared on November 14, along with the Bihar Assembly election results.
