Railway has issued a new guide line, now another person can travel on one ticket

Indian Railways: After booking a train ticket, it must be canceled when it is not possible to travel. But there is no need to do so now. The railway has provided a new facility for its passengers.




NEW DELHI: Indian Railways: Railways has now added another facility to its passengers. If you have a Confirm ticket and you are unable to travel on that ticket, you do not need to cancel that ticket. This ticket can be passed to any member of your family or any other person.

Passengers with special facilities:

a train ticket ( the current Railway Ticket ), booked, then you will need to cancel it when you are unable to travel. But there is no need to do so now. The railway has provided a new facility for its passengers. This facility has been running for a long time. However, most passengers are not aware of the facility. So, here is how you can take advantage of this feature of Indian Railway.

Tickets can be transferred to someone else: The

traveler can transfer the confirmed ticket in the name of other members of his family, such as father, mother, brother, sister, son, daughter, husband and wife. For passengers ( Passengers ), 24 hours before the train departure casts request. Once requested, the passenger’s name on the ticket is removed. The name of the member to whom the ticket is to be transferred will be placed at that place.

Application must be made 24 hours in advance: If the

traveler is a government employee and is on his way to duty, the request may be issued 24 hours before the train leaves. If you are having trouble getting married, you have to submit the marriage paperwork 48 hours in advance. This feature is also available online. Ticket transfers can only be made once. That is, if a passenger has transferred his ticket to another, he cannot change it again.

How to transfer your ticket to someone else?

1. Take a ticket out.
2. Visit the reservation counter at the nearest railway station.
3. In whose name the ticket should be transferred, a copy of their ID Proof Aadhaar or Vote ID must be submitted.
4. Apply for ticket transfer through the counter.
