In the digital world, where people are using UPI for everything from paying tea bills to buying vegetables, till now people have to buy tickets in cash at the railway station. During this time, while the ticket clerks keep demanding change from the passengers, the passengers also keep saying that they do not have change. Due to this, there is often bickering between the two. But, now that Railways is also promoting digital transactions, here also the facilities of UPI and QR code are being provided to the passengers. QR code has been installed on the ticket counters of Siwan and Mairwa stations of Bihar. Now you can buy tickets by making online payment here.

Now passengers can pay for tickets through QR code at the ticket counters of Siwan and Mairwa railway stations. This will make it easier for passengers to get tickets. Currently, this facility is provided at 6 ticket counters of Siwan station and 2 counters of Mairwa station. PRO Ashok Kumar said that due to lack of change, both passengers and ticket clerks often faced problems in transactions at the ticket counter.
