Railway Ticket Transfer Rules: In India, a large number of people travel by train, but even then people are not aware of all the rules and regulations.

In such a situation, along with getting the ticket cancelled, you can also transfer your ticket to another person but there are some conditions for this.
Passengers can transfer their tickets to family members like father, mother, brother, sister, son, daughter, husband, wife.
If the passenger is a government employee and was going in connection with his work, then the request for ticket transfer has to be made a day in advance.
At the same time, if someone has to travel for a wedding or any other personal work, then he will have to apply for transfer of ticket 48 hours in advance.
- First of all take a print out of the ticket.
- Now you have to go to the reservation counter at the nearest railway station.
- Here you will also have to carry the Aadhar card or Voter ID card of the person in whose name you want to transfer the ticket.
- Now you can apply to transfer the ticket from the counter.
