Railway’s big decision, even if you book tickets at the station, you will get 5 percent discount

Indian Railways: Railways has announced a discount on tickets to avoid cash payment during ticket booking.




In the second wave of COVID-19, Indian Railways has taken a big decision for the safety of passengers. Railways has announced a discount on tickets to avoid cash payment during ticket booking. Now a 5 percent discount will be available on the payment of reserved ticket booking at PRS counter through UPI.

Explain that earlier a 5 percent concession was announced for booking online reserved tickets. But now the payment of ticket booking at the railway counter from UPI will also be exempt.

Discount will be available till 12 June next year
Passengers will be able to avail the benefit of 5 percent discount on UPI payment till June 12 next year. Railways has taken this decision to avoid cash payments to passengers at the time of Corona transition. On paying through UPI, passengers will get a discount on all the passengers taken on that PNR.

Increase the trips of these trains
Indian Railways has increased the frequency of some special trains. Railways have increased the frequency of five pairs of special trains. At the same time, only rail passengers with confirmed tickets will be able to travel on this special train. Those planning a trip are requested by the zonal railways to abide by all regulations related to boarding, travel as well as the destination and COVID epidemics at the destination during the journey.
