An alert has been issued for rain and storm from tomorrow till April 15. Talking about the weather of the last 24 hours, hailstorm occurred in Sikkim, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, while heavy rain and thunderstorm activities were also seen in Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh. Whereas, Vidarbha, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala, Mahe, Telangana and Northern Interior Karnataka. Thunderstorm and rain were also seen.
The Meteorological Department has predicted that a warning of heavy rain, thunderstorm and lightning has been issued in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Marathwada, Central Maharashtra on 12-14 April. Apart from this, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha, Bihar, Andaman and Nicobar are going to receive light to moderate rain between April 12-14. There will be thunderstorms and strong winds in the areas of Telangana, Kerala and Interior Karnataka for the next seven days.
