NCR Weather News: According to the Meteorological Department, another western disturbance is going to hit the Himalayan regions soon. Its effect will also be visible on the plains of northwest India. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of thunderstorm and rain for two days in Delhi NCR. The Meteorological Department says that there will be movement of clouds in the sky of Delhi NCR this week. IMD has predicted that light drizzle may also be seen during the next 24 hours. Strong winds may blow during this period.

Meteorologists say that the people of the capital Delhi will get respite from the scorching heat throughout the week. The weather forecast is that due to strong wind, clouds and light drizzle, the maximum temperature of Delhi will remain between 35 to 37 degrees this week. Meanwhile, on Monday also the maximum temperature of Delhi was recorded one degree less than normal.

Most parts of Delhi remained cloudy since Monday morning. Even if the sun came out for a short while during the day, it started getting cloudy within a short time. During this period, light drizzle has also occurred at isolated places. The maximum temperature recorded at Delhi’s Standard Observatory Safdarjung on Monday was 35.2 degrees Celsius, which is one degree less than normal. The Meteorological Department estimates that some weather activity will continue this week. Due to this, the maximum temperature will not increase rapidly. The wind speed is likely to be between 25 to 40 kilometers per hour during the next three days, whereas, there are chances of light drizzle at intervals for the next two days. Due to this, the maximum temperature of Delhi will generally remain between 35 to 37 degrees Celsius.

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of light rain with stormy winds and thundershowers in Delhi NCR on April 19 and 20. During this time the wind speed will be 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. According to meteorologists, this change in the weather of the national capital will be due to the arrival of western disturbance. At the same time, due to increase in the amount of pollutant particles in the air, Delhi’s air quality remained at 204 i.e. in poor category on Monday. However, due to increase in wind speed, it is likely to improve in the next two days.
