Rajasthan Board: Big decision of Rajasthan government, postpone 10th and 12th board examinations

Now the Rajasthan government has taken a big decision and postponed the board exams for class 10th and 12th. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has taken this decision in view of increasing cases of corona infection. Along with this, the Chief Minister has announced to promote the students of class VIII board, ninth and 11th directly to the next class. Rajasthan Education Minister Govind Dotasara said in an interview that a final decision will be taken regarding the examinations after 15 days after reviewing the condition of corona infection in the state.

It is worth noting that earlier in the high-level meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Education Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Wednesday, the Central Government decided to cancel the examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education i.e. CBSE 10th and postpone the 12th examination Was. This was informed by tweet by Union Education Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank.




After the meeting in Jaipur, Chief Minister Gehlot tweeted that in view of the second wave of Corona infection, the state government has taken an important decision, postponing the 10th and 12th board examinations to be conducted by Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, Ajmer. . With this, the state government has also decided to promote students of class 8 to ninth, class 9 students to class X and students of class 11 to class XII.

On Wednesday, before the announcement of postponement of examinations, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot held a meeting to review the status of corona infection in the state through video conference. In the meeting, medical experts made several important suggestions in view of the rapidly increasing number of infected patients, positivity rate and mortality in the country. He also interacted with political parties, religious leaders and social organizations earlier.

In the meeting, he instructed the Home Department to prepare the necessary guidelines based on the suggestions given by the medical experts. Chief Minister Gehlot appealed to the people to understand the magnitude of the second wave of Corona and behave in the same manner as they did during the first imposed lockdown.
