In such a situation, if your ration card is not linked to Aadhaar or bank account yet or your ration card is running suspended for a few days, then you should complete this work by August 31. This work is still going on in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand and Delhi-NCR. Many state governments have issued information in this regard that if the ration card is not linked with Aadhaar, then the ration card will be blocked.

You can link Aadhaar with ration card in supply offices of many states of the country or online. Under the National Food Security Scheme, on the instructions of the Central Government, the Aadhaar number of all the family members mentioned on the ration card has now been made mandatory. After 31 August 2021, if your ration card is not found linked with Aadhaar, then it will be blocked.
