Free Ration in Delhi: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal is also giving ration to people who do not have a card, in view of Corona. Under this scheme, 72 lakh card holders and people without cards will get free ration in Delhi. The Delhi government is allotting 4 kg of ration to each person. This means that if there are 10 people in one’s house, then he will get 50 kg of food grains.

Yogi government is also giving free ration: In Uttar Pradesh also people are getting free ration. The Yogi government has also announced to give free ration (Ration Card) to those who do not have ration cards. Apart from this, for those whose ration cards have not been made, the government is making immediate ration for them by running a campaign. In view of the Corona crisis, the UP government has announced to give free ration to the poor and needy for 3 months.

How to get such a ration card: To make a ration card, both online and offline can be applied. To make a ration card online, go to the official website of your state. For example, if you are a resident of UP, then click on https://fcs.up.gov.in/FoodPortal.aspx . Similarly, people of Bihar can apply on hindiyojana.in/apply-ration-card-bihar/ . In the page that opens, click on Apply Online for Ration Card. Attach any certificate issued by the government including certificate such as Aadhar card, PAN card, residence proof.

Who can apply: All those people who are citizens of India can apply for ration card. If you have crossed 18 years of age, then you are included in the ration card of parents.
