RBI alerts crores of customers! Know this thing before transferring money online on May 23

The Reserve Bank of India said that if the NEFT service does not work for a few hours on May 23, then you should settle your work in advance.

In the Reserve Bank of India, told that on 23 May, NEFT service will not work for a few hours, then you should tackle your work in advance. If you want to transfer money to anyone within this time frame, then do it in advance, so that you do not have problems. RBI has given information about this by tweeting.

Let us tell you that the National Electronic Fund Transfer System (NEFT) is a payment system run in the whole country in which money is transferred from one bank account to another. Through NEFT, customers can transfer money within minutes. You can transfer money through this facility at any bank branch in the country.

In a tweet made by the RBI, the RBI has written that due to technical upgradation after the banks finished functioning on May 22, NEFT on May 23 from 00:01 am to 14:00 pm (12 pm to 2 am Till noon) will not work, but RTGS facility will continue to work smoothly.

There is no minimum limit. Let me tell you, there is no minimum limit for transferring funds through NEFT, that is, you can transfer any amount of money. On the other hand, if you talk about the maximum limit, then it can be different according to the banks. How much money is transferred from RTGS and IMPS? In addition to NEFT, customers can also transfer money using RTGS and IMPS (Immediate Payment Service). Talking about RTGS, it cannot transfer less than Rs 2 lakh at a time, while the maximum amount is different at different banks. Amount of up to 2 lakh rupees can be transferred in real time through IMPS.

>> After login, you have to go to NEFT Fund Transfer section.

>> Now you have to add the details of the recipient.

>> Enter the receiver name, bank account number and IFSC code in it.

>> You can start the NEFT transfer as soon as the recipient’s add.

>> Now enter the amount you want to send and press the send button.
