What are the eligibility requirements for a Railway Apprenticeship?
Applicants must have passed the 10th standard from a recognized board. They must also possess an ITI certificate in the trade they wish to pursue. Candidates must have attained the minimum age of 15 years and not attained the maximum age of 24 years as of January 7, 2026. Candidates in reserved categories will be eligible for age relaxation as per government regulations.

How to apply?
- First, visit the official website www.rcf.indianrailways.gov.in. Then, register on the portal using some of your basic details.
- After completing the process, you will receive a registration number and password.
- Using this, you will need to log in to the website again.
- Now, fill in your name, father’s name, and date of birth as per your 10th grade marksheet. Spellings must match. Otherwise, you may face problems during document verification.
- Next, upload your passport-sized photograph within 20kb-70kb.
- Resize your signature to within 20-30kb.
- Pay the application fee and take a printout of the form and keep it safe.
Application Fee
Candidates will also need to pay an application fee of ₹100 when applying online. This must be paid online. Cash/check/money order/IPO/demand draft will not be accepted. Female/SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from the application fee.
