Realme is preparing to make a big bang in the smartphone industry next year. The company’s CEO Madhav Seth told in a webinar on Wednesday that the company will launch 5G smartphones coming in the price of less than 10 thousand rupees in the year 2022. Along with this, Seth also said that in future all the Realme smartphones coming in the price of more than 15 thousand rupees will be equipped with 5G.
Aiming to bring 5G to all categories of users, Realme started its 5G journey in India with the Realme X50 Pro 5G last year. The company has recently added a few more devices to its 5G smartphone portfolio with the likes of Realme 8 5G, Narzo 30 Pro 5G and Realme X7 Max 5G. Seth said that the company has set a target to be the 5G leader in India this year and the company is trying to make this technology accessible to all categories of users.
The entry of the Realme GT series will be in the next quarter,
Seth told that the company is considering launching the Realme GT series in India in the next quarter as part of its 5G strategy. The special thing is that not one, but many models will be launched in this series. Realme GT 5G was launched by the company in China in March. After this, this phone was launched in Europe, Poland, Russia, Spain and Thailand in June. Reality GT Neo and Neo Flash also come in this series. In the coming days, the company can also launch a new series called Realme GT Master Edition.
Can bring 5G phone of Rs 7500 With
the launch of Reality GT series, the company can also launch new 5G smartphones in its Narzo series. Last month, the first 5G smartphone in this series was the entry of Realme Narzo 30 5G. Realme earlier this year had promised that it would build a portfolio of 5G smartphones in the above Rs 30,000 segment in India.
The company is now doing the same planning for the segment above Rs 15,000. However, Seth said that it cannot be said for sure when the company will have 5G smartphones in each range. The special thing is also that Seth said last month that Reality can launch a 5G smartphone of $ 100 (about Rs 7,500).
The ‘1+5+T’ strategy will change the way you use the smartphone.
Last week, the company introduced its ‘1+5+T’ strategy. Under this strategy, the company is planning to launch a smartphone that can simultaneously connect to Internet of Things (IoT) products such as truly wireless earbuds, wearables, TVs, laptops and tablets. Apart from this, the company’s planning also includes creating an open partner platform to support IoT startups.
