If you are also over 18 years of age, then you can follow these steps and register through CoWIN portal or Aarogya Setu app.
From today, registration of Covid-19 vaccination has started for all people above 18 years of age. After registering from May 1, 2021, people above 18 years of age will be able to get vaccinated. You will be given the vaccine only after registration in this vaccination process of the third stage. Therefore, it is compulsory for all those who get vaccinations to get registered.
If you are also over 18 years of age, then you can register through CoWIN portal or Aarogya Setu app. For this, you have to follow some steps and your registration will be done. So let’s know how you can register for vaccination by visiting CoWIN portal and Aarogya Setu app.
Follow these steps to register through the CoWIN portal
1- First go to https://selfregistration.cowin.gov.in/ and enter your mobile number and then click on Get OTP. After receiving OTP, enter it and then click on ‘Verify’.
2- Then on the ‘Register for Vaccination’ page, enter all the information along with your photo ID proof, name, gender and date of birth.
3- After doing this you will get the option to schedule an appointment. Click on the ‘Schedule’ button next to the name of the person for whom you have registered.
4- After this enter your PIN code and then click on Search. After this, the centers added with that PIN code will be visible to you.
5- You choose the center, date and time according to these and click on ‘Confirm’.
For information, let us know that a user can register four members for vaccination and can easily schedule and reschedule the appointment.
Follow these steps to register with the Aarogya Setu app
1- Open the Aarogya Setu app and click on the CoWIN tab on the home screen.
2- After doing this, select ‘Vaccination Registration’ and enter your phone number. After this you will get an OTP and put it and verify yourself.
3- After doing this, ‘Register for Vaccination’ will open where you will have to enter photo ID proof, name, gender, date of birth etc. along with all your information. After this you click on ‘Register’.
4- After doing this, you will get the option to schedule an appointment. Where you have to click on the ‘Schedule’ button next to the name.
5- After this, enter the PIN code of your area and click on Search. After this, the center near you will be seen. After selecting the center, date and time, click on ‘Confirm’ and then your appointment will be booked.
These documents can be used for registration
Explain that while registering, you can get Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving License, Health Insurance Smart Card issued by Ministry of Labor, Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) Job Card, Official Identity Card issued to MPs / MLAs / MLCs, Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Card, passport, pension documents, issued pass book of bank / post office and service letter issued to employees on behalf of central / state government / public limited companies, etc. can be used.
