Samsung Galaxy M17e 5G Expected Price and Availability
Samsung has not yet confirmed the official price and storage variants of the Galaxy M17e 5G. The smartphone is set to launch on March 17th. Upon its launch, it will be available in two color options: Vibe Violet and Blitz Blue.
This phone is expected to launch in the sub-₹20,000 price category, making it a strong competitor to the upcoming iQOO Z11x, Realme C83, and Redmi 15C.
Samsung Galaxy M17e 5G Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy M17e 5G will feature a 6.7-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen will support adaptive brightness and high brightness mode (HBM), automatically adjusting visibility even in direct sunlight. In terms of durability, the M17e has an IP54 rating, making it water and dust resistant.
The M17e 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G processor, paired with an Arm Mali-G57 GPU. Samsung has not yet confirmed the device’s RAM and storage variants.
The Galaxy M17e 5G will run on Samsung’s One UI 8.0 operating system based on Android 16. Samsung has also promised six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates for the device. The smartphone is powered by a large 6000mAh battery, but charging speeds have not yet been revealed.
In terms of cameras, the phone will feature a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. An 8MP front camera is provided for selfies and video calls.
The Galaxy M17e 5G will be just 8.2mm thick and feature a Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) back with an island design. It will also feature advanced AI features like Google Gemini and Circle to Search, as well as hardware-level security via Samsung Knox Vault.
