According to the guidelines of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), banks are closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month. Apart from this, banks are also closed on all Sundays, local and national holidays. This time August 10 is the second Saturday, so banking service will not be available on this day.
Banks will also remain closed in the month of August due to festivals
Many festivals and important days are coming in the month of August 2024, due to which banks will remain closed in most of the states. These festivals include Independence Day/Parsi New Year (Shahenshahi), Rakshabandhan/Jhulna Purnima/Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya Bahadur’s Birthday, Sri Narayana Guru Jayanti and Janmashtami.
