AU Swadesh Savings Account: India’s largest Small Finance Bank (SFB), AU Small Finance Bank, has introduced two new bank accounts for customers. Keeping in mind the special needs of rural and semi-urban customers, AU FB has launched ‘Swadesh Savings Account’ and ‘Swadesh Current Account’.
Benefits of Swadesh Savings Account
AU Swadesh Savings Account focuses on making transactions not only easy but also beneficial for its consumers. It offers 5% cashback on debit card spends (including spends on fuel), bill payments and recharges through AU0101 to promote digital inclusion. Powered by RuPay Platinum Debit Card, it offers insurance coverage which includes Rs 2 lakh for personal accident and Rs 5 lakh for air accident along with free use of airport lounge.
This savings account also provides the facility to the customers to maintain balance in savings account or fixed deposit. Customers can maintain an average quarterly balance of Rs 10,000 in the savings account or can opt for a fixed deposit of Rs 1 lakh.
Swadesh Current Account
A common challenge for current accounts is in rural areas, where there are business cycles, a period of high activity followed by a period of slack followed by high cash transactions. This often leads to difficulty in maintaining minimum balance, which leads to charges and inconsistency. AU Small Finance Bank has tried to solve this problem by designing the AU Swadesh Current Account, keeping in mind the transaction behavior and segment-specific requirements. This ‘Current Account’ offers flexibility in balance maintenance and monthly transactions with no mandatory minimum balance, and also offers monthly cashback on debit card spends and digital transactions.
‘AU Swadesh Current Account’ also offers a cash deposit limit of 15 times the average monthly balance (AMB) of the previous month along with free check book every month, seamless payments and over 20 free banking services like Other facilities are also included. This account is complemented by the Visa Platinum Business Debit Card, which offers high transaction limits, purchase protection, insurance coverage and exclusive offers and discounts on leading brands in India.
