These days, many customers of SBI are getting a message regarding PAN card, in which SBI Yono App account is also being said to be suspended. On this, the bank has also issued an alert and has informed the bank customers not to believe such messages. What message are people getting?

Cybercriminals are sending messages to customers, saying that SBI user, your SBI Yono account has been blocked. You update your PAN card. Along with this, a link has also been given to update the PAN card, which is not the official website of SBI Bank, but another. Although the name of this website is similar to SBI, but not of SBI. What did the bank say?

After receiving such messages to the customers, the customers have given information about the bank through Twitter. On this the bank says, ‘Thank you for sharing this information. We appreciate your awareness. We advise our customers not to respond to links, calls, SMS, emails asking for personal and banking details like UserID, Password, Debit Card Number, PIN, CVV. In such a situation, complain about Phishing/Smishing/Vishing attempt at email report.phishing@sbi.co.in.
