SBI customers can now avail these 8 services from home

SBI internet banking facility allows you to carry out banking transactions from the security and convenience of your homes. With this service of the bank, you can transact anywhere and anytime.

New Delhi. Internet banking portal of State Bank of India (SBI) provides many types of facilities to customers. In this service, SBI customers can check their account balance, transfer funds, request for a new check book and apply for a debit card. Apart from these services, customers also get the facility to create fixed deposits and recurring deposit accounts through Internet Banking in SBI. Username and login password are required to use Internet banking.




SBI internet banking facility allows you to conduct banking transactions with the security and convenience of your homes. With this service of Nank, you can transact anywhere and anytime.

Settle this task while sitting at home – SBI has tweeted on its Twitter account that the customer can handle a total of 8 tasks through Internet banking from home.

Transaction of money, apply for ATM card, work related to deposit account, bill payment, saving bank account statement, apply for check book, start and stop UPI, payment of tax

Start internet banking like this

Earlier, the account holder had to go to the branch for NetBanking facility. Had to fill a form there. Then pre-printed kit of instructions had to wait before starting the facility. If there is no time to visit SBI branch, now you can register for SBI’s NetBanking facility from home. This work can be done completely online. Here we are telling how?

  • Go to onlinesbi.com, the homepage of SBI Net Banking.
  • Then click on “New User Registration / Activation”.
  •  Enter the account number, CIF number, branch code, country, registered mobile number, required facility and click on the “submit” button.
  •  After this OTP will come on the registered number.
  • Now select the ATM card and if you do not have an ATM card, the bank completes the further process.
  • Note down the temp username and create the login password. (Use special word with eight words in the password) Re-enter the password and click submit to complete the registration process.
  • Log in with the temp username and the new password.
  • Create a username of your choice which will be your permanent username.
  • After accepting the terms and conditions and set the login password and profile password and select some questions and make answers.
  •  Enter the date of birth, place of birth and registered mobile number.
  • Click on the “Account Summary” link to see the bank account information.
  •  If you are registered with “View only right”, then contact your branch to activate your “Transcation right” along with a printout of your online registration process.

If you have already forgotten the registered user and password, then follow this method

1. Go to www.onlinesbi.com.
2. Click on the option ‘Forgotten Login Password’. After this, click on Next on the next page.
3. Now submit your username, account number, country, registered mobile number, date of birth and captcha of SBI NetBanking in the specified space.
4. Now an OTP will come on your mobile number. Enter the OTP and click on confirm.
5. Now there will be 3 options to reset the login password. These three options through ATM card details, through profile password and ATM card
6. Reset login password without profile password.
